Fish Tacos with Mango Salsa

Delicious fish tacos with mango salsa.

Mango Salsa:

  • 1 mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely diced
  • ¼ c. chopped cilantro
  • ½ lime, squeezed

Seasoned Fish:

  • 8 corn tortillas (6-inch)
  • 1 avocado, sliced


  1. Combine all Mango Salsa ingredients (salsa can be made several hours ahead).
  2. Combine chili powder, cumin, garlic salt and brown sugar in a small bowl; mix well. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat and add tilapia. Sprinkle fish with half the seasoning.
  3. Cook 2 to 3 minutes, until fish has browned. Turn and sprinkle with remaining seasoning. Cook 2 to 3 minutes until tilapia is cooked through.
  4. Portion fish into tortillas, top with Mango Salsa and avocado slices.
