Berry Spinach Salad

Delicious berry spinach salad.

  • ½ c. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Ground Mustard
  • 2 tsp. Poppy Seed
  • 1 tsp. Minced Onion
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 c. Mazola® Corn Oil
  • 13 c. raspberry vinegar
  • 1 bag (10 ounces) fresh spinach
  • ¼ c. pecans, toasted
  • ¼ c. chopped red onion
  • ½ c. dried, sweetened cranberries or halved fresh strawberries


  1. Mix sugar, mustard, poppy seeds, onion and salt in a food processor or blender. Gradually add oil, followed by vinegar. Chill at least 4 hours to allow flavors to blend.
  2. Combine spinach, pecans, red onion and dried cranberries in a large bowl. Toss with 1/3 cup chilled salad dressing. Refrigerate remaining dressing for future use.


Substitute other flavored vinegars for raspberry.
