Hazelnut Fig Tart

Hazelnuts and figs combine to make a delicious tart.
Ingredients
1 prepared pie crust
3 eggs
2/3 cup brown sugar
2/3 cup Karo® Dark Corn Syrup
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/4 teaspoon Spice Islands Ground Allspice
1/2 teaspoon Spice Islands Ground Nutmeg
1 teaspoon Spice Islands 100% Pure Bourbon Vanilla Extract
1 teaspoon fresh lemon peel
1 cup chopped, dried figs
3/4 cup coarsely chopped hazelnuts
Directions
Fit pie crust into 10 to 11-inch tart pan.

Combine eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, nutmeg, allspice, vanilla and lemon peel in a large bowl. Mix well. Add figs and hazelnuts. Pour into crust.

Bake at 350°F for 40 to 45 minutes until filling is set and nicely browned.  Cool.
