Lemon Ginger Granita

From the moment this lemon ice begins to melt in your mouth, you can almost feel the Silcian ocean breeze!
Ingredients
3-1/2 cups Ginger Cinnamon Lemonade (see recipe link below)
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup vodka
Directions
Pour lemonade into medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, add sugar, vodka and stir until dissolved. Pour into 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish; cool to room temperature. Cover with plastic wrap and foil. Place in freezer for several hours or overnight.
Shave frozen granita with ice cream scoop into serving dishes. Serve immediately.
